The Fourteenth Century Approaches!

I am having so much fun in my history class.  Next is a fabulously devastating century.

The end of the Crusades, the rise of the Ottoman Empire, the Hundred Years’ War, the Black Death, and seige warfare … hey, what’s not to love about fourteenth century Europe?

Oh sorry Brit in California Europe and the UK.

  1. Can’t say I am fan of a period where mathematics was so poor they could not actually count correctly. The 100 years war started in 1337 and ended in 1453; so it lasted a 116 years, a 16% deviation from a clearly inaccurate name.
