Revisionist history: Memory allocation error (Episode II)

Because this day is literally a new beginning, I can begin to construct an ideal life.

And because I have awakened with all faculties intact (well, except for my memory of course), a skill guaranteed to yield me an excellent salary, and a perfectly sculpted nose, I have everything I need to start said life.

When one has been asleep, everything is fresh and new.  Every sight and taste is intensified.  The world seems open and embracing; a kind of innocence emerges from the wreckage of the past, its hard protective shell broken by forgetfulness.  And all past acts, all of the mistakes from before are erased.

What kind of people are we once all the veils and cobwebs are removed?
