Read and heed the warning: Don’t let this happen to you!
Today I experienced a texting mishap. During lunch I was texting ‘and you are cute too’ and unfortunately sent this snippet to my boss in error.
My boss is on vacation with his wife and two children.
When I realized my mistake I immediately texted again with an explanation that I had misdirected the message to him, and expressed my extreme embarrassment.
His response indicated he found the situation amusing, and it’s a good thing both he and his wife have a good sense of humor.
A law recently went into effect on January 1, 2009 in California, which prohibits texting while driving. I thought perhaps the law ought to be expanded to include texting while sitting in a Chinese restaurant and texting to coworkers so they could hear the cute chime when the text message arrives on their iPhone.
