Puerto Rico I

If one needs to travel for a business conference, there are certainly charms to be found in Puerto Rico. The tropical climate encourages – even compels – relaxation, and the exotic feeling is served with a large quantity of rum.

We flew out of San Francisco the night of June 23, and arrived in San Juan early in the afternoon of the 24th – and at first this lengthy trek felt a discouragement to future visits. However, after exploring the grounds of the El San Juan Resort, and the beach just outside its gates, and the intense humidity, the tension of a cramped flight and inconvenient layover in Atlanta began to melt away.

  1. I’ve never thought about going to PR. Looks beautiful, well, in these photos anyhow.

  2. The old town area of San Juan is prettier than this resort area – but the resort was still lovely and the amenities were good too.
