Another day trip during our spring at-home vacation was a venture south past Pescadero, to Bean Hollow Beach. We selected this particular destination for its swath of sand, the opportunity for an easy climb over some rock outcroppings to explore tidepools, and that this beach allows dogs.
Sadie was impatient during the ride, and as we descended Highway 92 a glimpse of the ocean below she began to whine excitedly. Heading south on Highway 1, windows open to the fresh chilly spring morning, we could taste the seasalt.
When we arrived, Sadie dashed to water’s edge, biting at the waves. We coaxed her out and clambered over the rocks to explore.
