My husband is fascinated by the night sky. He is able to readily point out several constellations where many mothers have to squint and struggle.
Tonight, though, Venus and Jupiter form a bright line in the west, continuing on to the star Regulus; the unschooled eye can easily spot this line, in such a tidy angle.
I attempted to capture this with my iPad camera, with some little success. While Venus is quite bright and Jupiter visible, alas Regulus is camera-shy.
